Dr. Manisha Badoni, Senior Consultant, ELDF, is a lawyer and academician specialising in environmental law, regulation and policy. She has seamlessly integrated over a decade of experience in research, consultancy, litigation, and drafting into her Doctorate of Philosophy in Environmental Justice in India.
Dr Badoni has taught postgraduate environmental courses and supervised Master’s dissertations at the TERI School of Advanced Studies, where her practical litigation insights greatly enriched her teaching methodology. She has represented clients before the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal, showcasing her expertise in high-stakes environmental litigation.
An accomplished author, Dr Badoni has authored several significant publications, including a co-authored handbook on rural electrification in India. She holds an LL.M. in Environment and Natural Resources Law with distinction and received the Major Dhruv Yadav Memorial Award for the Best Master’s Dissertation.
Dr. Badoni is passionate about teaching and unwinds through gardening.
