Fizza graduated from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia University and began her career at ELDF as a Senior Associate. She earned her LL.M. in Environmental Law degree from Vermont Law and Graduate School and worked with the Centre for Science and Environment on climate finance before returning to ELDF as a Senior Consultant. Her areas of interest include laws relating to wildlife, protected areas, forests, oceans, coasts, climate change, energy, water resources, and biodiversity.
When not practicing law, Fizza enjoys spending time with her two dogs, reading fiction, playing badminton, and exploring new restaurants.
